Capturing the Essence of Entertainment
Our goal was to make a music video that showed the ruthlessness of the music industry in way that displayed personality, creativity and entertainment - the core elements of making music as an independent artist. As a former semi-professional dancer, Liam (Nine Lives Digital) also relished the opportunity to choreograph a dance piece for the project. Taking inspiration from directors such as Wes Anderson, we aimed to tell a simple story with a more unique aesthetic. After all, indie music is often not about complexity nor big budgets - it's about character.

An Amalgamation of Art
We greatly enjoyed working on this project as it combined three major pillars of art into one project - music, dance and acting. Excluding the music, Nine Lives Digital created the whole project from start to finish - writing, directing, editing, dance choreography and logistics - whilst working with an extremely tight budget.
